Fr George Chamakalayil, who hails from the District of Wayanadu in Kerala was born in the year 1966. He was ordained a priest in 1994 and was first appointed to Udaideepti Minor Seminary. In 1998 he was appointed Parish Priest of Our Lady of Fatima Cathedral and from the year 2000 to 2007 he served as the Manager of St. Pauls School, Udaipur. He was appointed Secretary to the Bishop in 2007 and became the Manager of St Pauls School in 2008 for the second term. Now from 2012 he is appointed in the newly erected parish called Gogunda as its parish priest.
