Fr James who hails from the Kottayam District of Kerala was born in the year 1959. He was ordained a priest in the year 1985 and his first appointment was in Dungaripada as Assistant Parish Priest. In 1987 he was transferred to Holy Spirit Church, Dunagarpur. From Dungarpur he was transferred to Bishops House Udaipur where he started a printing press for the Diocese and started another mission station at Madri. In 1994 Fr James was sent to Banswara to start the Diocesan Pastoral Center where he worked for four years. In 1998 he was sent to start a new parish in Japhadara in Madhya Predesh. In 1999 he was appointed Parish Priest to St Andrews Church, Ambapara where he worked for five years. In 2004 he was sent for his higher studies in Biblical Theology to Vidya Jyoti, Delhi. After completing his studies he was appointed to St Josephs Church, Kesariyaji. In 2007 he was sent to Holy Spirit Church Dungarpur as Parish Priest. In 2010 he was appointed Parish Priest and Manager to St Anselms School, Bhilwara. After a year he was made Parish Priest of St Teresa of Lissiuex Church, Maska Mahuri. Now from July 2014 he works as the Procurator of the Diocese of Udaipur.
